Inspired by Victor Hugo’s poem “What Two Horsemen Were Thinking in the Forest”, this creation composed by Quentin Bisch explores the quiet dialogue between oneself and one’s shadow.

Built in layers, the fragrance opens with the vibrant freshness of black pepper and rose absolute, illuminated by the green, fruity nuances of blackcurrant bud. Gradually, the composition reveals a darker and more textured trail, where ambroxan, vetiver, and geosmine unfold into earthy, woody depths.

Mysterious yet grounding, the scent lingers like a shadow at your side: intimate, elusive, and impossible to escape.

Whether your shadow has a name or not, it most certainly has a scent.
